It was a Saturday, we went to Mid Valley Mega Mall to relax our mind from the stresses of life. As we strolled along the shops in Mid Valley, we came across a restaurant which serves local street food. The restaurant name is Ali, Muthu and Ah Hock.
The name of the restaurant and interior conveyed a nostalgic ambience of a 'muhibbah' or a harmonious spirit of togetherness among diverse races for a coffee shop but with a modern touch.
We had Fried Rice and Hainanese Chicken Chop. As for drinks, we had Iced Teh Tarik or Iced Pulled Tea synonymous with Hong Kong milk tea but the method preparing is different.
The Fried Rice was savoury and fragrant. The fried egg pairs well with the fried rice. As for the Hainanese Chicken was well fried and the homemade tangy sweet sauce goes well with the chicken. The chicken was crispy yet tender. We enjoyed the food.
