As recommended by my partner for Western food, we went to Bonjour Garden restaurant. It’s about 11am and the crowd were slowly flowing in. We got a table and ordered. I went for the Lamb Chop Set. It is grilled marinated lamb with salad, roasted potatoes, black pepper sauce and comes with pumpkin soup. It was delicious. The tender lamb meat melts in your mouth when eaten. The roasted potatoes were sumptuous, soft and earthy tasting. The pumpkin soup was thick and delectable.
My partner requested for Tom Yum Seafood Pasta and Spinach Pizza. The Tom Yum tasted spicy and sour at the same time. The prawns were succulent. And the thin crusted Spinach Pizza was crispy and flavourful.
We strolled along the pastry section and was amazed by the variety of cakes and buns. The looked inviting and we bought few of them and ate at home.
The whole meal amounted to about RM130. It was a superb lunch. We would go here again in future to try out other dishes in the menu.
