Once in there, we found a table next to the stall that I wanted to order food. The stall name is 'Special Teo Chew Steam Hor Fun' which sells various types of Teo Chew (one of many Chinese Clans) food ranging from fish, prawn and pork Hor Fun (wide rice noodles) to porridges and bihun (rice vermicelli). I made a decision to order Steam Fish Hor Fun which is their signature noodles.

My partner made her way to ‘Soon Wah’ noodles and called for Pork Noodles. We waited for a while. Her Pork Noodles arrived to our table before my Hor Fun. The broth in the bowl of Pork Noodles has a peppery pork and savoury taste. The bihun is soft and slippery. There are loads of minced pork, pork balls, a few pieces of pork liver, vegetables and a poached egg.

The Steam Fish Hor Fun noodles tastes sour and savoury and have some chilly spiciness in it. The hor fun is slurpy and slippery. The sliced lemon and tomatoes gave the broth the sour taste. As I ate the big slice of fish it literally melts in my mouth. The portion is just enough for me.

It was a nice meal. I paid RM9 for my bowl of noodles and my partner gave RM6.50.
