One day my partner, Jo Pi Pi looked up in the internet and found an eatery that she was finding for, Granny's Mansion. She would like to try the noodles or porridge.
Upon arriving, we were ushered into the restaurant. Once seated we browsed through the menu. I, Chou Che Che ordered the Double Pork Noodle and picked kwei teow for the choice of noodle. My partner, Jo Pi Pi chose the Deep-fried Fish Meat paired with Mee Sua noodle.
The Double Pork Noodle and innards were tender. The broth was tangy packed with mustards greens (ham choy), tomatoes and chilies. The kwei teow noodles were smooth and chewy.
As for my partner's noodle, the fish fillets were deep-fried to golden brown and crispy and flaky inside. The broth was tangy of course.
It was a sumptuous meal. Planning to revisit in the future.
