The menu was extensive, a lot of choices. We made up our minds and I ordered Chicken Cheese Curry Wazen and my partner requested for Chicken Katsu Don.
Our food came a while later. The chicken was hot and savoury with the curry not too spicy. I burnt my tongue actually, snuffed out my taste buds for a moment. Eating the chicken with glutinous rice was superb. The tempura was fried to perfection, golden yellow texture and was crispy. I admit though the miso soup was slightly salty. The Chawanmushi was silky smooth packed with umami.
My partner's food was flavourful and gummy. The chicken was crispy and savoury.
Overall, the experience was wonderful. The ambience was cosy and warm but slightly dim to cater for comfortable atmosphere.
The entire meal costs about RM60. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2022...
