31 Jul I made poached eggs and toast bread for my early morning meal. Plus, black coffee to go with them. It was a great meal and it pacified my taste buds. Just like old times where I had this kind of breakfast in a traditional kopitiam shop. Lunch time. I made pork cheese balls. It’s basically wrapping the cutlets of cube cheese in minced pork meat and frying them. Accompanying this tasty dish was cooked noodles with fu juk, fish cakes and spring onions. It was a good meal. As the sun went down the horizon, it’s dinner time. Chicken curry was on my menu for this meal. It's a simple dish but took some time to cook. Ah! Yes! Rice must go together with curry. I boiled rice the usual way but in a small pot instead of a rice cooker. I ate my meal while watching TV. It was a sumptuous meal. The moon rose high in the night sky and it was time for bed. I reflected on the meals I cooked today and were good all in a day's work of cooking.
