Breakfast at San Gong Li

My first impression when I looked inside were feeling nostalgic and reminisce of olden times of the people in China preparing food and drinks.

Anyway, we ordered Tomato Soup with Mee Hon and Thai Sauce with Chicken Fillets. As for drinks my partner requested for Signature Coffee and I ordered 3 Layer Coffee.

The drinks arrived first. My partner likes the Signature Coffee. It consists of Milo, Coffee and Condense Milk. As for 3 Layer coffee; it has separated layers, Gula Melaka (a type of palm sugar made from sap of coconut palm flower buds) at the bottom, milk in the middle and coffee on top. It tasted great and sweet. A nice combination out of the norm.

As for the Tomato Soup with Mee Hon, it had slices of pork, fish cake, shrimps, crushed tomatoes, mee hon and egg. It had a nice tomatoey sour taste. My Thai Chicken Fillets came with fried chicken fillets, a piece of fried egg, slices of cucumber, onions, and chilli mixed with Thai chilli sauce. It was good, the chicken was crispy and had Thai sauce resemblance flavour.

The entire meal costs about RM30. A great morning meal.
