Music was playing in the air. The area of the shop was small and we sat around a table near the kitchen. We glanced at the menu given and ordered Nasi Ayam Warung Set and Mee Mama Tom Yum Jumbo Set.
The drinks came, my partner had Loong Aun drink with ice cubes and I had Ice Milk Tea. My Milk Tea was very sweet while my partner's drink was not that sweet as she had told the waiter to reduce the sugar level on her drink.
The food arrived minutes later. Her Chicken set tasted superb, the fried chicken was crispy and succulent. The blue rice with the gravy added was a terrific mix. As for mine, the noodles were sort of soggy. But the broth was sweet, sour and tart. My bowl of noodles came with slices of cuttlefish, fish balls, foo juk, tofu and egg.
The meal was alright and paid about RM40 for the dinner.
