Yong Sheng Noodle House

yong sheng noodle house

We needed a cold drink quick so we ordered food and drink as fast as possible. I called for Nasi Lemak as I was craving for it. My partner requested for Mala Pan Mee. As for drinks we ordered an ice cold herbal tea. We also ordered fried foo juk roll and fried dumpling.

The drink came as soon as we have finished ordering. My Nasi Lemak came next and was fast as it was already pre-cooked. They just scoped the rice and curry chicken, sambal (chili sauce paste made from a variety of chili peppers and ingredients such as shrimp paste, garlic, ginger, shallot, scallion, palm sugar and lime juice), anchovies, peanuts and half a boiled egg. It was palatable but not freshly made.

Then the Mala Pan Mee came. It tasted extra spicy as my partner told the waiter. It has minced pork, homemade noodles, black fungus, anchovies, tau fu pok. The broth was savoury and spicy. It was tasty. I liked the broth but it burnt my tongue.

The food cost about RM23 and we were filled to the brim and went back happy.
